Privacy Policy for YT Summary

This Privacy Policy explains, as simply as possible, how Solo Leveling Software ("we") handles information in YT Summary (the "App"). The App lets you input a public video link, fetch available captions/transcripts, and generate an AI summary. We do not claim ownership of any third‑party content; all rights remain with the original rights‑holders and/or the hosting platform.

1) Data we collect (short answer: essentially none)

• We designed the App so that we do not retain personal data or content. Your inputs (e.g., a video URL) and the resulting text are processed transiently in memory to generate your output and then discarded.
• We do not run analytics or tracking beacons.
• If you contact us (e.g., email support), we'll see the information you send in that message and use it only to respond.

2) How we use information

• Solely to provide the functionality you request in that moment: obtain available captions/transcripts for the provided link and produce an AI‑generated summary.
• We do not use information for advertising or any unrelated purposes.

3) Content ownership & your responsibilities

• No transfer of rights. We do not grant any rights in third‑party content. All videos, captions, and transcripts are owned by their respective rights‑holders and/or the hosting platform. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary permissions to process or reuse any content.
• AI output. To the extent we may hold any rights in AI outputs, we grant you a non‑exclusive license to use them for your own purposes, subject to any rights/permissions that apply to the underlying content.

4) Sharing & disclosure

• We do not share or sell personal data. As we do not retain content, there is nothing to disclose except if you email us or the law requires disclosure.

5) Security

• We use reasonable safeguards for transient processing and transport. No method is perfectly secure.

6) Retention

• By default we retain nothing beyond the time needed to produce your result. If we ever add an account feature or storage, we will update this Policy first.

7) Changes to this Policy

• We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
